PT Cruiser Show-Within-A-Show

The Arthritis Foundation's Classic Auto Show is sincerely grateful to the Ohio PT Cruiser Clubs for the huge amount of support we receive each year from its leadership and members. The Ohio PT Cruiser Clubs present a spectacular PT Cruiser Show-Within-A-Show with terrific attendance in all classes, which usually totals more than 40 PT Cruisers. JUDGING STANDARDS FOR PT CRUISERS:

This is the criteria to be used for the judging of PT Cruisers by PT Cruiser participants or a judge's panel approved by members of the committee.

The following categories are specifically designed for PT Cruisers judging at this event.

BEST OF SHOW - This is the voter's choice for their favorite PT Cruiser. It does not necessarily mean it is be the best custom or have the best paint or be the most modified, etc. It simply means it is the PT Cruiser that collects the most votes.

BEST CUSTOM EXTERIOR - This category has no restrictions. It includes (but is not limited to) modifications by any bolt-on or applied accessory, modifications to the body or frame by radical bodywork or structural modification, custom paint, graphics and pin striping, custom wheels and tires.

BEST PAINT - (Note: This category is totally separate from the custom paint, etc. mentioned in the BEST CUSTOM EXTERIOR category.) This category does not consider the original factory paint. It is intended that the car be judged on the basis of custom paint, permanent (non-magnetic) graphics, flames and pin striping (hand painted, vinyl or taped).

BEST INTERIOR - This includes (but is not limited to) custom upholstery, dash and console trim kits, door trim kits, painted consoles, painted center dash surround, painted dome light surround, custom shifter knobs, pin striping or graphics on the air bag cover or any other area, instrument "eyebrow" visors, fuzzy dice and wide armrests. Generally, any interior modification will be considered.

BEST STOCK - It does not mean that the car has not been modified at all. This means that the car has not been modified from its original appearance (interior or exterior) by using aftermarket accessories or other custom features that are/were not available as genuine MOPAR accessories designed for use on the PT Cruiser.

BEST DISPLAY (REAR HATCH) - This includes displays of PT toys and miniatures, photos of the PT during the process of modifications, trophy and awards displays, stuffed animals, tailgate party set up, picnic accessories, etc.

BEST ENGINE COMPARTMENT - This includes any modifications to the engine and engine compartment that were made from the original appearance, such as air intake, chrome parts added, etc.

NOTE!!!!!

If the results of the judging indicate that a single PT Cruiser has collected a sufficient number of votes to be awarded a prize in more than one category the award will be given only for the category with the most votes.

The votes received in the other categories for that PT Cruiser will be eliminated.

Only one prize per PT Cruiser per event will be awarded.

REMEMBER!!!!

Standard ballots will be numbered and distributed to one person per registered car. Only one vote in each category per registered PT Cruiser will be allowed.
