May 2010: Mustang Club of Ohio - Memorial Day Parade

MCO members are invited to bring your Mustang out and kick off the summer season.
We will gather at 8:30 am at Cup-O-Joes 1791 Olentangy River rd. Columbus, Ohio 43212
We will depart there to assemble in our parade position at 9AM SHARP!!!
Directly following the parade, we will caravan to KAR Autogroup for an open house.
The MCO will have pizza and soda delivered by our friends at Terita's Pizza while we are at KAR
After you leave the open house, UFO is hosting the Earth Angel cruise at Ricart Ford Rt 33 and Hamilton noon-6pm

May 2010: Gardening & Arthritis

Monthly in 2010: First Saturday of Every Month through September at Der Dutchman
Drive your car and join the Scioto Model A Ford Club for breakfast. ALL makes and types are welcomed, Ford, Chevy, Dodge... Restored, Street Rods, Rat Rods, Muscle Cars, etc.... The cars will start to arrive around 8:00AM, and we'll leave when we're full and run out of stories... probably 9 - 9:30AM.

July 11, 2010: 29th Annual Richard A. Teague AMC Regional Car Show
The Ohio American Motors Classic AMC club is proud to announce that the 29th annual Richard A. Teague AMC regional car show will be held on July 11, 2010 at the Crown Plaza hotel parking lot, Dublin Ohio. This is the day after the the 28th Annual Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show and Cruise In honoring Len Immke, at the same location in the Metro Center in Dublin, Ohio. The number of car classes have not, as yet, been determined at this time.

August 2010: Rheumatology Camp
Children ages 8 through 16 living with arthritis enjoy a free, fun overnight weekend camp held at Recreation Unlimited. Campers have a chance to make friends and participate in activities ranging from crafts, fishing, boating and swimming. Contact Nick Turkas for more information on this program.

September 2, 2010: Wine & Dine
This unique wine tasting features various fine wines, a silent auction, a selection of foods from some of Columbus’s best restaurants and a fabulous atmosphere. Contact Randie Morgan.

September 17 - 19, 2010: 2010 Glenmoor Gathering
In 2010 the Glenmoor Gathering will recognize not one automobile, but a large of them - "The Historic Motorcars of Cleveland" - automobiles built in Cleveland, Ohio, which once rivaled Detroit as a center for automobile manufacturing; you'll see many examples in 2010.

November 2010: Arthritis Expo
Learn the newest and best treatments from local arthritis experts. Participants will enjoy a complimentary lunch and may peruse the health fair area. Pre-registration is required. Visit the website for more information or contact Nick Turkas.

December 4, 2010: Jingle Bell Run/Walk
A 5K run/walk through downtown Columbus and German Village as participants race to the finish line to provide help and hope to those fighting arthritis. For more information, visit the website or contact Stephanie Houck.
