Each year, it takes more than 200 volunteers, 60 committee members, and the entire staff of the Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, to plan, organize, promote, and execute the Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show & Cruise-In. This is a huge task which requires a year-long planning cycle.
Judges
Did you know that it takes more than 60 qualified judges to evaluate the over 2,000 automobiles that attend the Classic Auto Show & Cruise-In each year? Consequently, the Judging staff is already being recruited for this year's event. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with judging, please contact Jack Compton.

Join the Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show & Cruise-In committee to help make the 31st Annual Classic Auto Show & Cruise-In the largest and most successful event ever!
Just like you, all 60 members of the Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show & Cruise-In committee are automobile enthusiasts. The devoted committee meets once a month to work on all aspects of the event in order to organize and present the highest quality and most enjoyable event possible. Wanted: Ramp and Parking Assistance Volunteers
We are currently looking for Saturday Judges for the Classic Auto Show, as well as Ramp Captains for Saturday and Parking Assistants for Friday and Saturday to make sure we get every collector car owner on the field and to their right parking spot. For those who bring cars to our show, this is THE most important position next to Judging.

In 2012r, we experienced the passing of two long time members and dear friends of the Classic Auto Show Committee. These two members were never too busy to give it their all and we will be honoring both, with Awards to Volunteers in the future, in their memory.
The Can Do Award in memory of Danny Fitzpatrick who for so many years, handled all the Vendor needs from a Power, Water and Maintenance standpoint.
The Faithful Heart Award in memory of Gail Larrick. She brought the PT Cruiser Group to the Classic Auto Show. She organized and coordinated the Preregistration Packets and Pick Up with her Team and worked tirelessly for the good of the Classic Auto Show and the Mission of Arthritis.
You Can Help as a Volunteer for Other Events
The Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, meets it mission through the valuable hard work, dedication and energy demonstrated by volunteers. Volunteers are crucial to many areas of the organization, including administrative work, training to become self-help and support group leaders, sponsorship of professional education programs and participation in our many special events. You can make a difference in the lives of the 486,000 residents of Central Ohio, of whom 5,000 are children, who struggle with more than 100 different types of arthritis by becoming a volunteer.
